Just As I Am

Just As I Am presents a sheep poised in a softly rendered field. The composition is intimate, confined within a modest 6x6 frame, yet it carries a quiet presence through its textured brushwork and thoughtful color choices. The sheep's off-white fleece contrasts with its dark face and legs, anchored against a backdrop of muted greens that suggest sunlit grass without precise detail. A warm, circular light form in the corner introduces a subtle glow, hinting at sunlight filtering through the scene. The painting’s impressionistic style invites the viewer to appreciate form and atmosphere over exactness, capturing a moment of natural simplicity with warmth and gentle movement.
