Palmetto Rhythm

Palmetto Rhythm is a 16x20 oil on linen panel. I focused on the texture and color of the South Carolina palmetto, using loose brushstrokes to capture its form and the subtle rhythms in the leaves. The background blends soft, muted tones to support a calm, warm feeling.
